I'll let you know when I'm done in the kitchen ... the Turkey-roast is
nearly done, soup 's ready, Dauphin Gratinois is nearly ready, Coquilles
St. Jacques are ready, Desert is ready.
 
The table has been set, menus printed and I'm going to have a Christmas
dinner now (due to my wife's night-duty at the hospital during Christmas
night I delayed one day).
 
When that is all eaten, the wine has been drank and I've had my customary
burp I'll scan the TV-stations to see if "White Christmas" is not
on anywhere. If it is we'll watch it, if it is we'll find something else to
do as a family.
 
But I do intend to spend this day without Fido and make it a true
old-fashioned Christmas the way I rememver it from my younger days. I'd
like my kids to know that and share that day in the same way with their
kids when the time has dawned.
 
My wish to all: do exactly the same, forget Fido for the day, it is very
unimportant anyway and there are better ways than spending it behind a
keyboard.
