Was that your *first* look at the SDD package?  If not, that could be the
problem.  I've never had it happen to me, but I know others have.  From what
I've seen posted, it initially was caused by having not fully removed an older 
unregistered version before installing the latest one... including the
directory.  SciTech said they had fixed the problem! Sorry if you found they
haven't!
