Joseph,

The name of the first two moves for Black is "Owen's Defense". It
almost always transposes into something very recognizeable, but you have a
lot of flexibility,a nd sometimes the unusualy move order can be made to
work for you. I seldom see an early g3 against it - the opposing Bishops
usually end up being traded off, and losing the bishop out of your Kingside
defense is much worse than losing the Bishop out of my Queenside (assuming
you are planning on castling on that side, that is). Something like the
Austrian Attack is usually the hardest to play against, but I like the fact
that I have some flexibility and that most opponents don't have a pat
solution.

Massey/Pribulick 1. d4 Nf6 2. Bg5 Ne4 3. Bf4 c5 4. Nd2 Nxd2 5. Qxd2 *

Pribulick/Massey 1. Nf3 b6 2. g3 Bb7 3. Bg2 e5 4. d3 Nf6 5. Nbd2 d5 6. *
