Hello Peter!

Replying to a message of Joe Negron to Peter Fitzsimmons:

PF>> I'm the author of one of the others (lh/2), and even though I use it
 >> all the time for my own use, when I release a file for general
 >> consupmtion, I use ZIP. Why fight it?

Hmmm...the US could still be a British colony also...but that's another
story.

Seriously, Peter, I use and appreciate your LH32 but have a request if you
are in the programming mood. The latest version of RAR/2 has 2 features
than are of great benefit on my overloaded systems...

1) The ability to give back extra sleep cycles (which helps the rest of
my system during long periods of compressing, OS/2 appears to use a
very high priority thread for file access which can really bog other
very timing sensative threads if your compressor doesn't help out.)

2) Ability to set the run-time priority.

If you have time to look into this for LH32 I'd be very greatful.

Cheers,

Nicky
