Hi Holly,
DL >> Instead of gluing it on permanently, you could use Tack It
DL >> Over & Over. The reason being that you will change the layout many
times.
DL >> About the time you think you have it right, another relative pops up
HS > Cute idea!!! Is Tack-It that blue stuff used to hang posters on the
HS > wall??
HS > Or is it that Post-It note glue that I heard was for sale now?
Tack It Over & Over is from Aleene, and has been out since abt 1990/1991.
I use it to hold the sequin appliques on my shirts. Use it VERY sparingly.
Someone sent in the tip to Aleene to use it for Pin the Tail on the Donkey
for young kids so that they don't stick themselves with the pins.
I've also seen it used for paper dolls to hold the clothes on better.
Store the items on wax paper or thin sheet of plastic, so that they will peel
off easily.
There are many, many uses for this product.
HS > (great, now I ogtta go to Michael's and look for it. See what you did?
HS > (grin)
You NEED an excuse?? q;-) I recently found out where Michael's is located
in Augusta. I was with someone else and she offered to stop, but it was only
for a few minutes, and I knew I'd have to be in there longer than that, so I
was a good girl and resisted the temptation. It's just off I-20, so now I'll
be
stopping there either to or from NC when I head that way. I used to stop in
Macon on the way home, and sometimes made it in the door just before they
locked it. The clerks weren't happy with me when I did that, they just stood
around, no-one asked if they could help me find anything, and kept announcing
that the store was closed, please bring purchases to the register. I did,
when I finally found everything I was looking for. When they complained, I
just told them I still had a 2 hr drive ahead of me, and that I'd been
driving for 8 hrs to get there.
HS > BTW Corel makes a $20 program that prints GEDCOMs out in a fan tree
HS > chart, among other shapes. It's not a genealogy program, just a chart
HS > program.
Since I'm always trying to make some type of chart for one thing on another,
what is the title?
