What is HALE-Net?
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

HALE-Net is actually a collection of networks created for the BBS world that 
are geared towards specific subjects that will hopefully draw more users to 
your BBS and allow them to interact and share information regarding these 
subjects.

Sysops are NOT required to join ALL of the networks and may choose to only 
carry 1 or 2. They must, however, carry all of the Conferences for any of the 
network(s) they do wish to carry.

TBONE-Net was created in September 2007 by a Trombonist for Trombonists 
as a means for us to exchange information and ideas regarding the best 
methods of furthering our playing of the Trombone.
 
Anyone can participate, regardless of your level of playing ability. We
encourage Students, as well as Teachers, to share their knowledge and
experiences so that the rest of the users can benefit.

MIDI-Net was (re)created in September 2007 as a means for users to 
exchange information regarding MIDI and it's practical uses as a practice and 
performance tool.

We hope to 'get the word out' that using MIDI is not limited to only being 
used in the Professional and Commercial Sect but can be used at home by 
the hobbyist for the creation of their own music. Many people have the desire 
to create their own music but not the knowledge of what to get or how to 
use it once they do get it. MIDI-Net hopes to take away some of these 
unknowns and explain the methods needed to get a person's musical project 
completed.

RPG-Net was (re)created in September 2007 as a means for Role Players to 
have a means to exchange information and ideas about different game 
systems and the tools used to help make playing the games easier and more 
universal.

Many different game systems are represented and we will add more as 
requests are made. While I (personally) focus more on the 'older' games, all 
games are discussed - whether they are played P&P (Paper & Pencil) or online.
