 Actualy MaxBlast is the Hard Drive Install Program. IT Will thhough if
Necessary place a driver on the hard Drive if the BIOS need s it to see
the Drive.

 The Program you want is also on the Maxtor Site under the "Downloads"
but it is Called "PowerMax". It is a very comprenhasive Diag program for
Maxtor Hard Drives including doing "Quick" and "Full" Low Level
Formatting.  
 The program you download should be run under windows and it sets up a
Bootable disk that included and runs PowerMax.
