Hello Shmuel!

Sunday August 18 1996 from Shmuel Metz 1:109/347 to Harry Bush:

SM> Not only has IBM stopped shipping at anything lower than 6250,
SM> they're encouraging use of cartridge only.

CD would be better and cheaper anyway...

HB>> Wow, how do you get punched cards into PC?

SM> There are card readers that will attach to an ISA bus, but not for me
SM> . I suppose that if you absolutely have to do it then you grit your
SM> teeth and spend the money, but IMHO they're far too expensive for what
 SM> they do.

Nono, I can live without them... Punched cards were good for many
things but not exactly to keep info on them... imagine huge 500 card
batch which is at most 40 Kb file...:)))

Best wishes, Harry
