Hi Steven,
A couple of weeks ago I had a problem with callers to my BBS getting all 
kinds of crc errors.  I can't be sure I got the +A8M code you got, but I too, 
tried swapping phone lines, cables, and tried powering the modem off and on 
and nothing helped.  I've got 2 external Supras with the same Flash 25 codes 
and only my line 1 modem went goofy on me like that.
Solution: Flash the modem with the Flash 26 code again or check the Supra 
site to see if there is a new update or beta flash code available.  I 
reflashed mine with the Flash 26 code and it solved my crc errors...for the 
time being.
