| subject: | Trying to write a DLL |
I am trying to write a DLL for a custom button class. I am using EMX 0.9a and Project Manager 1.03. When I try to link to the DLL, LINK386 gives me an error: "error L2022: ButtonInitialize (alias ButtonInitialize) : export undefined". The project consists of a Buttons.CPP, Buttons.DEF and Buttons.H (Buttons.CPP and Buttons.DEF are the source files in the Project Manager file). The Exports section of the DEF file is just "EXPORTS ButtonInitialize". In the CPP and header files, I have ButtonInitilize defined as "BOOL EXPENTRY ButtonInitialize()". I also tried "BOOL APIENTRY ButtonInitialize()", but I got the same error. The ButtonInitialize function just registers the button class. Can someone please help me figure out what's causing the error? Thanks in advance.
