As a Sysop, my first Courier (a 14.4, no fax) was purchased on 'some deal' 
or
the low, low price of $499, I have purchased four more Couriers since that 
time, that last one for only 150$.  No doubt many a Sysop helped finance the
low cost of the Courier line that the general public enjoys today.
