It's an Americanism that may not have made it that far North.  Or 
needed to.  There are also 1-percenters, the really wealthy; the rest 
of us laugh at "One Percent Problems".

I've seen the crossover too; it cracked me up. I wouldn't want to 
drive one of those at high speeds; they're too far off the ground.
