Hi! I'm not a teacher, but I got a question for you in the echo that are.
I see how some schools (on the news, mind you) are pushing the Internet, and
I was wondering if there are schools out there that also give BBSing a place
in the computer curriculum.
Also, I'd like to know how would I go about contacting school officials
(location not important, just a general idea) on how to volunteer my services
to teach a one-day class regarding BBSs and FidoNet communications.
Been running a Fido BBS for 4 years now, and believe that teaching such a
one-day class could just be what the BBS world needs...
Of course, I'd prepare materials for the class, as well as providing a
terminal program that is self-installing, kind of like the AOL disks.
Any ideas?
Oyea: For the techie minded that want to do this in their schools: The
program is called Baby Banana Com, goto www.split.com and you'll find it
there.
