AFAIK errorlevels still work the same, but many of the commands may work
differently

try this errorolevel test. it uses pkzip (2.5) to generate an errorlevel 16
and then tests for it.

 pkzip -l
 if not errorolevel 16 echo there's a problem (not 16)
 if errorolevel 17 echo there's a problem (over 16)
