WVDL>Syntax highlighting.. Interesting.. For which language??
The following is excerpted from the Colors.Doc file distributed with TSE.
COLORS was written by Ian Campbell.
High speed assembler binaries integrated into COLORS provide the
highest possible performance. COLORS comes with many color template
".TSE" files. A unique color template file is used for each file
with a different extension. If a color template file does not yet
exist for your file types, then you can easily create your own! ALL
coloring is controlled by these color template files.
Included color template files are:
ADACOLOR.TSE - color template for ".ADA" ADA files
ASMCOLOR.TSE - for ASSEMBLER ".ASM" files
ASPCOLOR.TSE - for PROCOMM ASPECT script files
BASCOLOR.TSE - for BASIC ".BAS" files
BATCOLOR.TSE - for BATCH ".BAT" files
BTMCOLOR.TSE - for 4DOS BATCH TO MEMORY ".BTM"
files
CCOLOR.TSE - for C ".C" files
CBLCOLOR.TSE - for COBOL ".CBL" or ".COB" files
COLOR.TSE - anything not defined elsewhere
FORCOLOR.TSE - for FORTRAN ".FOR" files
MODCOLOR.TSE - for MODULA-2 ".MOD" files
PASCOLOR.TSE - for PASCAL ".PAS" files
PRGCOLOR.TSE - for FOXPRO and DBASE ".PRG" files
SCOLOR.TSE - for SAL ".S" files
SIMCOLOR.TSE - for SIMPLE TELIX ".SIM" script
files
SLTCOLOR.TSE - for SALT TELIX ".SLT" script files
SYSCOLOR.TSE - for SYSTEM ".SYS" files
Note that, in addition, ".H", ".HPP", ".CPP", and ".RC" files are
all grouped together under the "CCOLOR.TSE" template. If you wish
to add to or modify these groupings, see the procedure
"mResolveGroupExtensions" in the macro source file "COLORS.S" for
more details.
These template files may be modified to suit your own preferences,
if required.
Should you need to create your own unique color template file or
modify an existing one, then please refer to the file "CUSTOM.DOC"
for detailed information on how to do this.
As you can see, the implementation is both faily complete and flexible.
I think I recall seeing a color template for more obscure editing (like
instrumentation microprocessor assembly code for a PC based cross-compiler).
Regards,
Mike Chambers
