While this is true, and virtually *every* malpractice suit has as a
component the 'lack of informed consent', few are ever decided on those
grounds alone. For example, one of our internet buddies (MD, JD) did a
Westlaw search last year and found there has never been a successful
'informed consent' anesthesia lawsuit.
