Thanks very much. I was not aware that all the transmissions, including
power output were controlled by the Cellular phone company's computer
software. I will have to write them, so it is on the record. Phone
calls, usually do get "forgotten, while IF there is a written letter
in their mailbox, and especially to the support group, then it "may"
carry more weight at some time. Again thanks very much for your
explanations as how all this works.
For some interest perhaps to you, I had used the Cell phone for the
past month in August for 1026 minutes (over 17 hours). Including the
tax portion that is $37.68. No extra charges incurred, since I have
their flat rate. Saved myself a bundle of money, since I only talked
during the "free" time (after 7-Pm on weekdays, and during the week-
ends, and holidays) and within the local calling area. In your area,
what would such a usage have cost using a digital phone?
