I understand perfectly.  You're the one who's such a fanboy who worries 
about crap like canon.  In the REAL world (which you have no concept of, 
being wrapped up in TOS) Capt. April was the first captain because it 
said so in the animated series.  End of story.  What Roddenberry or 
Paramount or YOU think is irrelevant. It happened back in 1974.  Deal 
with it.

How does something that I explained to you go over my head?  You're 
insane. I deal with facts.  If this upsets your little world of TOS, too 
bad.  Get a life.
