OD>Oh, yeah. Far address.. You could do it manually in Quick- Basic,
OD>as well.. (I guess.. Which is first in the far method: segment or
OD>offset?)
Segment is adx+1.
TH>Yes, PB32 does. It does not compare with A86 or MASM, but it does
TH>allow you to manipulate variables close to the heart of the machine.
OD>Ah... Interesting. I see why Goto10 would use PowerBasic...
GOTO? GOTO! G-O-T-O!!!! We don't need no stinkin' GOTOs!!!! [grin]
TH>It makes BASIC more useable for some of the stuff I do.
OD>Ah, well.. I have to create my stuff externally and make a
OD>library out of it, but I've got batch files and macros
OD>helping me out..
I have yet to create an external proceedure. Having a library whould
be nice. PB allows me to include source files which contain a few
favoriate functions, mostly screen/keyboard IO. The largest programs
sorce code is under 200k, and i have not taken a speed hit, yet. [grin]
OD>See ya around!
