subject: Wiring problem

EH>It certainly CAN be done, and I've done it several times on trailers
EH>etc, by using solid state components and circuitry. If you're willing
EH>to get into that dark and arcane subject, you can make it all work quite
EH>well with only two filaments. (It IS however, more trouble than it's
EH>worth, not terribly reliable, and just generally a PAIN in the derrier.)
EH>Bulbs are cheap, simple, reliable, and easy to use. I highly reccommend
EH>KISS when it comes to automotive systems.
Well Elvis I am going to heed the advice and insert a couple of billet
light housings that will operate the turn signals as well as add
another pair of housings to complement the brake/tail light function
(housing has a dual lens) in conjunction with the single original rear
door mounted unit. I will just splice in parallel from the tail/brake
wires to the added units,I figure this should not reduce the
brightness significantly if at all.
EH>Well, since I never expected to achieve this advanced age, I'm certainly
EH>not ashamed of having done so. I can't say I'm crazy about BEING this
EH>old, but then we must consider the alternative!
Well not being crazy and old is better than being crazy and old. I'm
not that far behind ya.
Sincerely David
