Hard to say.  Perhaps it only applies to the manner in which the USR
handles the signals, who'd know?  Again, I'd like to see the NetComm's
specs.

Dunno, after 6 or 7 similarly successful (and successive) calls, only some
of them indicated Shaping as being enabled.  It's obviously an automatic
function, and according to criteria of which I have absolutely no idea
whatsoever.
