MM> I'd much rather pop in Starless and Bible Black and listen.
I don't have that one yet, though I used to have an old worn out LP of
it that disapeared with a room-mate in college. Never got to listen to it
before he skipped out with about $500 worth of LP's and CD's (according to
the pawn shops I found them at later.) What a drag. Included my much
beloved 801 LIVE cd with Eno and others on it.... haven't seen it anywhere
in years, might be out of print.
MM> The Double Trio is very complex but isn't complexity some of
MM> the appeal of KC?
Yes, and of course you are completely right. I adore the double bass/chapman
stick but the drums.... In my opinion Bill Bruford is so fantastic that
I'd rather just hear him and not deal with two drummers going in and out
of synch. Kind of like how I'd love to be able to take all the
instrumentation apart on a RUSH album and just hear the bass or drums.
Which makes me wonder something, would RUSH be considered progressive?
2112 and Hemispheres would be good examples if so I guess.
