 I mean your own post. Your previous post, which I have already
 read, includes the original moderator elisting. You claim we

 posted is dated Jan 2007. IOW, even when you try to screw people

 That was days after the discussion opened. And Cindy did take
 the co-mod position. So, in the end she decided I was right.

 Here is your post. The elisting is dated Jan 12 2007, which is
 in accord with what Roger has said on this.

 I will repost my original msg on this, note it was dated a
 couple days earlier. I do not recall exactly when Lee elisted
 the echo, but it was during this discussion, and before Roger
 elisted it. At that time Roger was still arguing that we didn't
 need a moderator.

 Yet you continue to insist it was in July/Aug 2007.

 Below this I reposted my original msg, and Roger's response, and
 Lee's response to Roger's response. Note that neither of us
 tried to take the echo. I nominated Cindy, Lee told Roger to
 take it. Rather emphatically. Lee responded several times that
 he should not be moderator. He only elisted it when the
 arguement went on so long and he got frustrated with it.

 I also noted, when I reread this, that it was Cindy was
 discussing something with Bob Ackley, and it was Bob A who first
 mentioned the "nut cases" coming into the echo. Cindy agreed
 with him.

 Now, try to get it right, and honest.

 Lofaso grabbed the echo on August 12.  Roger Nelson had been
 actively participating in the echo right along, other than a
 week or so when his computer crashed.  Lofaso even responded to
 one of his posts on August 11, without a hint of what he was
 going to do the next day.

 But maybe the most prophetic line was July 23, just a week
 before the listing expired.  Roger commented to Lofaso "so far,
 you have not offended the moderator." Lofaso's response to
 Roger was "Hmmm.  I'm gonna have to work on that." And he did.
 It was planned.  The only part that you and Lofaso could fill
 in is to clarify which of you initiated the action and which of
 you just followed along.

  On that, both Bob and Cindy are right. For which reason I make
  a suggestion. I don't think we even have a moderator. If we do,
  who is it? If not, I suggest we elect a moderator, so, when the
  nut cases do show up, we will have someone authorized to tell
  them this is a friendly chat echo, take the flames elsewhere.

  I open the nominations with Cindy and Malte. Which one is
  moderator and which is co-mod is up to them. I suggest this
  largely because we would have one US one Europe.

 I exclude myself, Bob Ackley, and Bjorn because we all are
 well known to the nut cases, and may actually be a challenge for
 them, drawing them here to crud things up.

 Now taking further nominations, voting to be whenever you feel
 like it.
