Actually tht is a misconception, however, the basic idea was later seen in a 
'pilot' called the Questor Tapes, but it wasn't really a pilot, it was a made 
for TV movie as CBS didn't want more than that.
The One that waas the pilot, actually 2 of them were GENESIS and PLANET 
EARTH,.. Which TBS likes to run back to back, but out of order.
There was another pilot, which I have not seen called SPECTRE, and that is 
about all that I know about that...
