I use flagfiles to run my tosser when mail is received.  From my BINKD.CFG:

flag k:\\flags\\toss!.now *.pkt
flag k:\\flags\\toss!.now *.su? *.mo? *.tu? *.we? *.th? *.fr? *.sa?

BinkD creates the flag when packets or ARCmail bundles are received.  My
mail command file detects the existence of this flag and calls my tosser to
process the incoming mail.
