It's a pedal that makes your guitar go Wah Wah, of course! I'm sure 
you've heard it many times. It's kind of like a tone control that you 
operate by rocking a treadle back and forth with your foot, producing a 
vocal sound. When the toe is farthest down, the sound is most trebly, 
when the heel is down, the sound is most bassy. Some examples:

- White Room (Cream)
- Tales of Brave Ulysses (Cream)
- Voodoo Chile (Slight Return) (Hendrix)
- Burning of the Midnight Lamp (Hendrix)
- Still Raining Still Dreaming (Hendrix)
- All Along the Watchtower (part of the solo only) (Hendrix)
- Wah Wah (George Harrison, although it's mixed down in the music 
  and isn't very prominent)
