I too am perplexed and worried about Paul Edwards' excommunication.

Does anyone know the reason behind it and who did it?

I hope it was not because of his EchoMail.  He certainly was not
excessively annoying.  If someone can get axed for what possibly
could be political reasons it sure is a sad day for FidoNet.

I'd like to see him back as well.
