I don't know what you mean by "those days" ... they still make animated
versions / spin-offs of live-action shows: Stargate Infinity, Men in
Black, Back to the Future, Star Wars, Doctor Who (although technically
only one episode and a webisode), etc. The Sabrina shows have switched
backwards and forwards between animation and live-action a few times.
