This has been a long drawn out evolution, with great successes along the way.
1960s fuel cells [gas fuelled] reliable and successful, in spacecraft.
1970s fuel cell propelled submarine [ASEA Sweden]
1970s fuel cells [coal fuelled] for peaking power in a Utility system. Was
that Con Edison?
The major Oil companies have been in the business since then, with huge
contributions to Unis and other research bodies. Of course, they want fuel
cells to use their product.
This is the way for the HYBRID CAR. You'll see!
