Today I called IBM direct services in Denmark to find out about the
differences between devcon and devcon ddk. Some days ago I read that I
could upgrade for free since the prices were the same.

I spoke to a lady that confirmed this (DM 320 for each subscription). When
I requested to change my subscription from devcon to devcon+ddk, she had to
talk to another person and then told me that I would have to buy an upgrade
for DM 180, which I refused (I just renewed my subscription in april).

Why is IBM doing such nonsense? It would have been just some seconds of
work to change my subscription data while I was calling :-(
