I have no idea what happened, but I sent a test email to myself. I saw it
show up in the mailbox, and the used my OTHER machine, using Outlook 2003,
to try first. It grabbed the email just fine.

Now, my Outlook Express isn't hanging up on connecting, either. Figure THAT one out.

I use an dynamic DNS service to supply the DNS info to find my site. I
haven't had anything "discover" it, and have never had any
unexpected email hit the server. That, of course, doesn't mean spammers
WON'T hit me, but so far every time I've tried to email from it, the email
is bounced because it is using a dynamic DNS service. I don't know that
spammers would find much use in it.
