have you got the start.bat setup?

here what a telnet node setting look like from lordcfg :

(1) Node Number                 : 4
(2) BBS Name                    : Time Warp of the Future
(3) BBS Software                : DOORSYS
(4) Path to dropfile            : d:\sbbs\node4
(5) Fossil / Internal           : Using regular fossil driver
(6) Locked port speed           : Port not locked
(7) Comport                     : Read from dropfile
(8) Send Open Comports command  : Yes!
(9) Send Reset Comports command : Yes!
(A) Use special ANSI settings   : No!
(B) Use direct screen writes    : Yes!
(C) The status bar is           : Enabled!
