Ok the CD can store more than 10 times the information than a cartridge. They 
cost a buck to manufacture for each cd and can be made by the 100's in one 
day. Cartridges are a pain in the ass to work with, no red book, not as good 
sound as you can do on a cd, cost 30 bucks a cartridge to manufacture and one 
cartridge takes a week to make...so yes. Look at the cartridge.
