I totally forget the rules about when problems could occur with NT4. The
problem is that large disks (>8G) usually want an extension to the BIOS
to drive the disk during startup. The original NT4 (no service pack) did
not include the BIOS extensions (which were invented after NT4).

So, if you do a new install and find some weird problem on reboot, you
might be looking at the big disk problem, and I could find my notes on the
Knowledgebase articles.
