I finally got that scanner working again, having resolve the software issues that were a problem here. The issue I'm looking at now is that the stuff it's scanning doesn't look right. If I select line art, or grayscale, it's fine. If I try and scale a color image, it seems to be lacking, particularly red, orange, and yellow colors... What goes wrong with these things? Any of you guys ever been into them? I notice over where the carriage (?) in there sits, where the light bulb is, it's getting kinda warm. That normal? What kind of a light bulb is that in there anyhow? Easy to find a replacement if I need one?
