control, of reactive power and system stablity.
Solar generators provide energy without bumps. Rotating machines can have
transient effects that adversely effect power system stability. A bit too
technical for this echo and this old brain.....
A problem with [spinning] co- generation is that neighbouring customers of
the utility, may suffer consequent lamp flicker due to voltage variations.

simplest technical solution, being to remove the spinning co- generation!
