You don't need to ignore the balance of your customers to please a
single one. All the more reason to identify all of your customers and
evaluate what their needs are. [emphasis on needs...not wants...there
is a significant difference, and in this argument, folks tend to fall
into the "I'm not going to give them everything they want" trap, when
that is not the issue. It's meeting their *needs* within the limits of
your capabilities]
Satisfying customer needs is many times a matter of balance,
particulary as you look with a macro view over your entire customer
base.
