You might want to keep 10.6 installed until the 11.0A fix is released.
If you read the watcom newserver's c++ newsgroup you'd see that 11.0 has
some *very* serious bugs for those that run into them. So many, that
the 11.0A fix is going to be released on CD (yes, it's that large a bugfix).
Those that have hit the bugs have all returned to 10.6 until they can try the
fix and see if it corrects things.
Also, be aware that some of the default settings (alignment packing, etc...)
have changed, and it's affecting a lot of people who upgrade and try to
recompile code (as opposed to people like myself, who *started* with 11.0).
