On 22/04/1998, as I teleported back from the Restaurant at the End of the
Universe, I heard Will Honea say to John Angelico about "New" Find:
WH>
WH> And if you bloody Aussies could remember what a thread was all about,
WH> you would know that Murray and I settled THAT issue several messages
WH> back :-}
WH>
I think that time travel (and missing out on SIO.SYS) has affected not
only my computer but also my brain (along with whatever else you're
thinking of ).
WH> How goes it, John? Talks funny, indeed! That, from Australian??
WH>
I am getting used to re-installing OS/2 and re-loading/re-registering etc
my software.
Which raises the question - why do I suspect that Warp 4 INI files are
more fragile than Warp 3?
I seem to have lost my Desktop, IN files, etc etc a few times. I am sure
glad I use a registered shareware program called Deskbak to save all this
stuff.
It's Australian - of course!
