You should probably use $OrgName+ in your VP/2 code.  This causes VP to
look for the identifier name without the unitname prefixed and is
compatible with the way C compilers create .OBJ files.

 UVDH> In what library is '_end' to be found?

Maybe your C functions use part of the C run-time library and _end is part of this?
