subject: Sharing comm ports

Hello Will,
Replying to a message of Will Honea to All:

The obvious thing to know is that COM ports that are shared on an OS/2 box
can not be used by DOS or Windows or Win95 boxes as modem ports. NET USE
will not work for such shared COM ports.
All is not lost though. There are third party apps (sorry, I do not know
their names off the top of my head) that allow you do to this. They likely
use some sort of DOS app to map the COM ports on the OS/2 box so they are
accessible via INT14 capable terminal programs.
Regards, Alec
