Yeah, the "stock" values are improved upon. I guess we were just
talking about the difference between 64240 RWIN vs a 513920 which I was
using before I began the tests.

These were my test results using the busiest server at DSLReports.com:

RWIN size (download/upload speed Kb/sec) 513920 (2859/291)
256960 (1254/176)
128480 (2838/291)
64240 (2686/294)
17520 (1825/350 "stock" in WinME and W2K)

I would say the second test was an anomaly. So yea, the difference over
default settings makes it worthwhile, but from 64240 to 513920, there's
negligible difference and real world congestion ensures that. If it's
because my ISP uses 64240 windows, then that really __x.

Do you know if ISP's limit the size to about 64K on their side? If so, that
would make using TCP1323Opts on the client side pointless.
