DD>happens to all the tomatoes that we cannot eat (only 2 of us). We are
DD>still eating sweet red peppers...I can get a whole winter out of what
Maybe I should reconsider and go for some red peppers. My wife savors
them roasted and then sandwiched with some olive oil and basil.
DD>I have always envied people with a good growth of grape vines. Are
DD>these eating grapes or wine making grapes?
They are robust purple Concord grapes that are good eating or putting
up as jelly, but not enough sugar to make decent wine (but I remember
my mother recooking some grape jelly that had formented in the back
of a cold celler shelf 8-).
DD>I live in Toronto, Ontario...about 10 minutes north of Lake Ontario.
We fondly remember a summer visit to your fair city some years ago.
(Especially an evening concert by the Danish pianist, Vistor Borge
on a lovely island park on the lake.) In the best of ways, Toronto
often to us seems like the New York City type of Canada.
BTW What red peppers would you suggest I try please?
Ciao, Ack.
