       Actually, the Tex Mex Tele doesn't have the brass plate underneath.
       I'm thinking of going with a Broadcaster Tele pickup from Seymour 
Duncan if I don't find myself liking the tone still. Does anybody know what 
year Keith Richard's favorite Tele is? I hear '53. If so, then the 
Broadcaster would be the way to go because in '54 the lead PU changed.
