I don't know what the file \TOOLKIT\IPFC\APSYMBOL.APS is for, so this
solution looks difficult to me. But I already solved it myself by using sed
to replace the '&' with '&.' just before calling IPFC (from a
makefile ofcourse).
I just hoped there would be a more simple solution, for example an
IPF-directive to take all text literally between the begin and end-tag,
without interpreting special IPF-characters.
