So, it could be a communication problem, or a problem with the
CD-ROM driver itself: I also have a Panasonic 562b. But regardless,
the bottom line is that we cannot close the door. I haven't looked
into the ioctl commands, but there could be something there. Or maybe
there's a command buried somewhere else, like in the Control Program
Guide and reference, if you think of the CD-ROM as a disk rather than
an audio player.
