From: Jan van Hoek (NL) >> so if one is unsigned, >> does it ask if you want to accept it >> or does it just reject the download? It depends on your settings in Administratieve Tools -> Local Security Policy -> Local Policies -> Security Options. You can choose between: - Silently succeed - Want but allow installation - Do not allow installation There is such an option for device driver installation. In Win2000 there is also one such option for "non drivers" (did they mean programs??), however I cannot find that option in my Win XP Pro setup. -- -- Jan van Hoek (NL) -- Sun 8 Feb 2004 08:51 CET --- BBBS/NT v4.01 Flag-5* Origin: Barktopia BBS Site http://HarborWebs.com:8081 (1:379/45) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 379/45 1 633/267 |
