For Neal: The problem is NOT with the IGMs I believe, it is with the LORD
game. All of my
igms do absolutely NOTHING to the Registered or Unregistered status of
anyone's LORD game.
If you are having trouble with LORD losing track of your being registered,
it is most likely
a bug in LORD itself. The current compilation of LORD v4.07, dated
September 2004, is
unable to remember that you are registered when you enter the game for the first time
in a day. LORD runs maint process, then immediately afterwards exits if
the player is
above level 6, with an erroneous claim that the Lord game is not
registered. Donald Tidmore.
I guarantee that ALL of the IGMs I am the author of, or the maintainer of, do nothing
to change the status of a LORD game's registration. The IGMs don't give a
hoot whether
you are registered or not. I am the creator and author of The Gem Trader,
The Nice Hag,
Ruined Castle, Love Shack II, Violet's Cottage II (not released officially yet), and
Kiteria's Lord Bank (also not released officially yet).
I am the current author of Turgeon's House and Hiding in the Shadows, which I adopted
from the original authors Mike Ciesiensky and Kenneth Padgett. I am the
maintainer and
current author of The Pawn Shop, which was created by Chris MacPherson. I used to be
the author of LORD Gambling Casino, but I turned it over to Chris Martino
in June 2004.
That igm was created by Tobin Fricke. I rebuilt Robert Fogt's Outhouse igm
using LORD
Cavern as a template into The Forest Outhouse igm.
All of Jason Brown's Lord programs are fully supported by me, with the exception of
his new projects RHPTest32 and LordStat32. Those are LORD Cavern, The
Gateway, LordStat, LordType and RHPTest (The RHP Toolkit utilities), and
Outlands Tavern.
I am also the current author of Realm of Lore, adopted from Paul Mullins,
which is not
in active development at this time. It is not certified usable for BBS
play at this time.
And I'm the author of ChasWare Lord Program Editor, which was created by Charlie
Wardick, as part of his Changeling Lord igm.
It would help when someone has a problem with an author's Lord programs if
they would bother to contact them directly for help. I can be reached via
email
for
in-depth help on any of my Lord programs at any of these email addresses:
ktidmore{at}bellsouth.net, gtidmore{at}usa.net - each are monitored daily.
Donald Tidmore.
