True.  The only other point is to make sure that the port speed is 
unlocked*.
I use SU to accomplish this from an OS/2 command session.
I really like that after making the needed changes to SYSTEM.INI, just 
restarting WIN-OS2 is all that is needed.  No need to reboot the system.
