Years ago in the days of the "AT" PSs, I wired a cigarette
lighter into one of the blank front panels on one of my dealer's 'display
systems' with a 200W PS. It worked great, and caught a few comments, maybe
a customer or two. At least a few people asked questions, that was a first
step!
When the system became an ATX with a 250W PS, my dealer had me move the
lighter to the new system. Attempting to use it there ALWAYS caused a
system shutdown, then we had to wait five minutes before the PS would turn
on again. The lighter was disconnected, and left as a conversation piece
after that.
Either the ATX 250W didn't have the 'guts' of the AT 200W, or the ATX had a
quicker overload sensor. Never tried it since... :-((
Good luck... M.
